It is snowing

The snow started out as hubby said, like a salt shaker. At this time it looks like tiny white feathers.
The termperature is cool enough that it is beginning to stick rather well. I am okay with that.
Hubby is going to go get gas in the car so he does not forget. I am staying home and doing "stuff". I have gone enough places all week already.
I am glad I am not going out to work, only working at home.

We are supposed to get snow starting tonight and tomorrow. Then again Monday but we will see how that goes with the weather changing every five minutes.

They keep changing our forecast, but we have had snow all day long. I do not mind. Rather have it now than in May.

I think it may be a little earlier than usual, but we actually had a pretty good snow about a month ago.

@LadyDuck Last week it was warm. It is not terribly chilly today. I think that makes a difference in how I feel about it.

We had some last month, that was really early. I guess it is true that this is a bit earlier than usual.

@GardenGerty Our weather seems to be changing a little each year. I wonder what this winter will bring.

@HazySue I wish I had the habit my grandfather had. He kept a day book about weather, crops, purchases, etc. every day.

@shubhu3 I particularly like it when I do not have to go out unless I want to.

I am doing that. I am working on old and new projects, trying to finish them up. I probably need to open the door and breathe some fresh air though.

When I got up this morning, the sky was quite leaden and I was afraid the clouds might hold snow, but the sun has come out so I think I'm safe for now.

Yesterday morning the air had a feel of snow, but it all passed.

This was the easy kind. Roads were clear but the yards were pretty. We may be getting more tonight.

What is it you do? Actually this type of snow is not difficult to be out in. No heavy winds or icy. It was not really cold either.

Oh no, not time for snow! I am definitely not ready for that! Ours will probably hold off and then it will hit around thanksgiving so we are snowed in and can't go see family.

I guess some years we do not have snow that sticks until Thanksgiving. That was the case when each of my children were born.

@GardenGerty I thought it was just supposed to be a white Christmas, not a white Thanksgiving! But seems we are always missing Thanksgiving because of the snow

Yes, it does. Today is prettier than yesterday because of the sun shining on the accumulated snow.

It was still pretty warm so it was enjoyable. It stuck, but was not a real problem. No ice.

Yes, but I do wish I could get a little more income. It was fairly warm and no strong wind.
