What Do You Think of Energy Drinks?

I know that some drink them to give them a burst of energy. Some drink coffee for the same effect, or caffeinated sodas.
So my question is what do you think of them? If you like them, which energy drink is your favorite?
I don't know if they really give me energy, or I might just not be affected much by the caffeine anymore. I do enjoy drinking some of them.
I will stick to the sugar free ones though. My favorites are the sugar free Monster ultras, the fruit punch flavored sugar free Rock Star, and most flavors of Bang energy drinks (especially the cotton candy flavor).

Yeah, that would not be good for an insomniac! Sorry to hear that though!

I try to live a healthy lifestyle. I eat good food, drink lots of water, get plenty of exercise and sleep. No energy drinks have been included. I do like to enjoy a cup of coffee from time to time.

@MommyOfEli2013 my daughter has experienced extreme health problems after using the artificial sweaters used in so many drinks.

Well that is great, thank you for sharing. I was just curious. I will be changing some habits to get healthier, but not sure I will give those up just yet.

Yes, it can happen.... I don't drink it daily and if I do drink it, I don't drink more than 1 in a day.

@MommyOfEli2013 Yes, I stopped it because I think they're not good especially to people with health issues already.

Sorry you started being hypertensive...but that's good to stop since they are not healthy...not sure what all they put in energy drinks (even though I love them).

@ZedSmart Very true, some even have warnings not to drink if you have any health conditions/take any medications.

I try to stay away from energy drinks and just stick to black coffee. The sugar crash after taking it doesn't do me any good.

I have never tried Red Bull. That's good to not drink them very often though. I drink energy drinks way too often.
