is the world overpopulated?

when i was kid, there are only about 200 houses in my kampong, but today there are more than 300. i think it is too much as compared the land we have.
10 years ago, it took 10-15 minutes to get my workplace by motorbike (9 km from my home now). but today, i take 20-25 minutes to get my workplace, and the distance is same

Yes the world is over populated. But it can be controlled and it is in our hand only.
