My pace per mile was a little better today but I attribute that to a few times when I "white girl" jogged (using that terminology because I have no "form" when running, jogging or dancing).
I said I was going to walk an extra mile but honestly it was too cold for that. It was 37 but supposedly felt like 41. Even with my extra layers and walking briskly at times, I just didn't feel like walking anymore.
I've been considering what I will do when it just gets way too cold. I think I'll still walk but only up and down my street (cul de sac, if we are being technical) a half dozen times until the cold gets to me too much.
What have you been up to today?

It is difficult to feel motivated to walk when it's so cold outside.

I woke up at 8 and it was just way too cold (28 degrees, no thank you).

Honestly I would rather walk and work out outside when it's colder. Keeps me motivated to walk more in order to stay warm lol.

That's what I was thinking but I also need to get some gloves and a tobaggen. I had to wear two pairs of socks, my leggings (because my jeans would just let in too much air and make me colder), three shirts and a ball cap. I had my hoodie on as well.

@thislittlepennyearns That's a great idea! I'll have to stock up on some of those hot hand packages. I've not been to DT in about two weeks. I'm sure it's all Christmas decor now, isn't it?

It`s hard to have a nice walk when the weather is really cold. It makes me want to go home very quick

I was tempted to walk a shorter path but I made myself keep walking and go the way I had planned.

@m_audrey6788 I agree. There were several places that I could have turned which would have taken me back towards my house but I was good about it and kept walking. I was the only one out walking and so I am sure I must have looked silly out there by myself.

I remember walking in the cold when I went to school. Me no liked that. I need to start getting out and walking more, I just need to find the motivation to do so.

You remind me of when I was in middle school. My house was nearly at the end of the development but the bus stop was at the very top. I would cut through people's yards to get to the bus stop faster, but standing up there I was always very cold.
