The Buck

President Harry S Truman famously kept a sign on his desk that read "The Buck Stops Here" - to remind him that the ultimate responsibility for what happened in the United States was his.
Perhaps Donald J Trump should revive this custom, but his should currently read "The Buck Starts Here", because that seems to be his usual attitude.
Disastrous Fires in California? The fault - according to him - of poor forest management - he even seems to think that the fires would not have happened if the forests were better managed by the State of California. This is despite the fact that the vast majority of California's forests are Federally and not State owned.
Since when did Donald Trump become an expert on Forestry? How does he imagine that tinder-dry forests can be managed so that fires fanned by strong seasonal winds will not sweep across vast areas?
Would he have said the same if Californians regularly voted Republican instead of Democrat?

Trump knows as much about Forestry as he does about the gaming industry, nothing.

@indexer The thing is, he couldn't. The same thing goes for building anything in New York. It's a very open secret and I hope the full details come out in Mueller's report.

I prefer not to comment on American politics.

@MALUSE I just shake my head. We have our own , often inept, leadership issues.

@MALUSE A pretty face....unfortunately oftentimes that pretty face has an empty head behind it.

Donald J Trump focuses his energy on the deflection. When people consider part of a problem his issue, he always puts blame somewhere else.
I would like to point out that more people voted against having trump in America than voted for him.
