A good deed?

So on my way home from work yesterday I stopped at the store to buy a few needed items. While I was waiting to pay I over heard the store manager talking to one of the customer service people. They were looking for one of the night stocking clerks. He had told thus couple he would give them a ride home. It seemed the clerk had left for the day and the couple lost their ride home. I finished paying for my items and went out to my car. As I was leaving I again spotted the couple standing by the grocery pick up door. Here is where I did something that could have been dangerous but I did not think. After all it was 20 degrees out and the girl looked very cold. I called the couple over to my car and asked them if they missed their ride. They said they had and I offered them a ride. I know it could have turned bad but something just told me I should give them a ride... So they got home safe they thanked me and it was kind of cool listening to them talk about their plans for their next couple pay checks it seems they were going to be getting their first checks. They had just started at the store. I still don't know why I gave two people I did not know a ride but it felt like it was the right thing to do.

@Upallnite Yes it will be, I always say it takes someone that has been helped to help others.

The idea that we should help others in need is an Ida that needs to spread

Since the store manager knew them as well, it was reasonably safe. Sometimes your heart and gut tell you the right thing to do. I hope you are blessed as well. They took a chance on you. You could have kidnapped them or worse, you know!!

I had those thoughts on my way home if I had been a different kind of person it could have been bad for them taking a ride from a stranger. And yes it was a gut thing that told me to offer the ride

I have done things like this before but I know it could be dangerous.
