How long were you with your gf/bf before you too got engaged and how did he purpose to you ? and how long were you engaged before you got married?

my fiance and I were together for 2 years before he proposed to me. He asked me to marry him around midnight at my mothers front door. We were there visiting & he called me outside. He said he asked me right there becuase that's the place where he met me for the first time :] it was actually very romantic. I still get tears in my eyes.
