And then I saw this Egret; today I sold an album

An Egret is a heron with white plumage and this one was standing at bit of a distance on Sunday. This was taken along the Willamette River, a few blocks from the Delta Ponds where I saw the blue heron. He seemed to be enjoying the sun as much as I was.
We have not seen that much sun since Sunday and today it is drizzling. I ran around to take care of another LP record sale, with the buyer in France. Postage was $23.50 but he did not mind, since he was already paying $37 for my old Mississippi John Hurt album.
Now, I am off to play ping pong for a while.

We have Egrets all over--especially after a rain they come to get the 'goodies' out of the lawns!
Ping pong? That's exercise!!! Don't you know exercise is no good for you??

egrets are a bigger bird than they appear. theres a lot of them out here, almost as much as cattle at times.
theres an egret joke ive heard before, but i cant really remember it, i just know the punch line was something like "I EGRET nothing!"
(waa waa waaaaaaaaa)

I suspect it will, but since he agreed to that shipping method, it is not a problem.

Yes, I thought I had it priced too high. The herons and egrets are pretty common here.

Within the US, I can use media mail for albums, only about $2.50. I was surprised it sold so quickly.

@JamesHxstatic That sounds pretty reasonable. Maybe we have similar packages for records.

Some of my LPs are worth a bit and some may not be, I guess. I have about 60 items listed and need to add more.

Just over a year ago we had several white herons in the field behind out house. At first I wasn't sure what I was seeing, but the second time I saw them, I had time to study them a bit before they flew off.

Nice to make a few bucks for an album you didn't want anymore.
