"A great day starts with a good breakfast and a dose of morning sunlight"
This is something I've read long ago.
Aside from vitamin D, sunlight triggers our body release a hormone called "Dopamine" which also conveniently acts as a neurotransmitter.
First of all, what's the difference between a hormone and a neurotransmitter. Hormones are produced by endocrine glands and released into our bloodstream. This affects the likes of human growth, metabolism, mood and reproduction.
Neurotransmitters are chemicals released by impulse transmitting nerve cells affecting the muscles, body organs and the tissue itself.
Dopamine is literally called "a happy hormone". Just one of the few. It communicates with the front portion of our brain linked to possitive emotions like pleasure and reward.
To sum it up, a little bit of sunlight everyday makes us feel happy, energetic and possitive. It improves important body functions like digestion and growth increase. It also strengthens the bones, our muscles and better skin health.
Don't forget to step outside and catch a little bit of morning sun.
Good morning and good day to everyone!

That's why i'm always staying outside during the mornings. I've also notice that whenever I stay indoors i always felt depressed. I guess ray of sun is one of the factor that triggers our happiness. Thanks for posting this.
