Have you heard of a spiritual vortex?

Happy Saturday all. Here in Minnesota it is 0344am and I am struggling my way through the night shift, my first night back in about 5 days after taking a trip to Arizona. I wanted to share some of the strange/cool/interesting things I saw and learned about on this short trip I had.
We stayed 2 days at an Airbnb house in Sedona which was extremely expensive but totally worth it for it's location so close to "Uptown" Sedona and proximity to a number of hiking trails in the red rocks...Sedona was an interesting town. (Has anyone else ever been there?)
What I noticed about Sedona - besides it being very touristy (which I cannot judge, since I AM a tourist!) and expensive, it seems to be a "spiritual" town. Driving through, I saw at least 4 or 5 different psychic shops that did readings, and also shops that did "aura photographs". (I am still not quite sure what exactly that means). They also were really big on selling things like "healing crystals". I wasn't sure if this was just super gimmicky/for fun or if this was a real belief and valid interest of many of the people there.
I ended up learning about something unrelated, but also kind of "off the beaten path" - called a Vortex. (Just for the record, this is NOT endorsed by science, but seems to be this 'spiritual' belief that some Sedona-ians have about certain places in nature). A vortex is supposedly an "energy center" located in areas that have a high concentration of iron and electromagnetic energy. Supposedly "twisted trees" also are an indicator that there is "vortex" energy around. I spoke to a few different folks who lived in Sedona who wholeheartedly believed it, and going TO the vortex had some kind of spiritual effect on you - supposedly it "amplifies" whatever you are feeling, be it positive or negative.
I wanted to just check ONE out, not because I am necessarily a believer in this type of thing but just to say I did, but the "vortex" we were close enough by to check out was near the airport, where it is up the side of the mountain and very limited parking. The parking area was full each time we tried to stop. So, I guess I will never know now.
To me, as I am not a super spiritual person, a lot of these things (psychic, aura readings or aura photographs, "vortexes") - are not something I believe in. But if I experienced something personally, I probably could be swayed.
At any rate, I thought this was super interesting even though I don't fully understand it. Have you heard of a "vortex"? Or do you have any similar tradition or cultures where you live, or any place you have travelled?

My brain isn't into sort of this thing. my first thought it was another dimension or a certain. but maybe you were talking about positive or negative energy concentration in a certain place? Hope it didn't do any bad to you.

The first I hear of such a thing and that is why I read your post. I really don't believe that there are physical locations where spirituality spiritual energy would be enhanced. The location itself is not important but what people might be doing there could have an effect.
