with cctv camaras everywhere i dont think private camaras matter anymore it is the state that is the problem

Yes, I do think that they should be allowed. It provides a sense of protection for those who are not criminals, and a sense of uneasyness for those who might commit crimes. Also, it is a great way for criminals to get caught, and identified. I feel safer when I see cameras in a public place.
