One of the people who raised me was my aunt. She always had little surprises up her sleeve and in charge when we have family gatherings...
She definitely was a lot of fun --
Til she accidentally stepped on my hair while trying to put candies into all the stockings I've set up for Santa
Even now as an adult, she would try to spoil me with handmade gifts. Last year when she came to visit, I joked around how I still remember that Santa fiasco and how I now have a complex about it.
So everytime I bring it up, my aunt would always give me this reply:
"NOPE, you caught me STEALING your chocolates."
That I ruined her fun by waking up. Then she'd laugh it off.
I guess I understood when it was my turn to have nieces and nephews. How my siblings often pick on me for being more excited about Christmas than the kids. Them waking up to such simple gifts but acting as if they were the best thing they ever got.
I'm like, ahh so this is the other side of that game. We get to play Santa just to see those smiles. It's the equivalent excitement I felt as a kid.

Very true. It just makes you want to keep passing on the tradition. I hope my niece will continue it too. She's bound to find out soon enough... or she already knows but can't tell me just yet

Really it's a great festival for both adults and children. The most important thing in this festival I'd to get th gift from the SANTA. It's give us fun and smile in our face.
