Have you experienced any kind of feeling of inadequacy despite having achieved so many feats?
I have noticed that in my academic experience, many students I considered "high-achievers" were the ones who commonly displayed the characteristics that can be found in Imposter Syndrome.
The only thing that I was not able to really determine was if any of their sentiments were actually true. Sometimes, I experience having such types of feelings as well, though in some cases, I was sure that I was merely faking my feelings to look like I can sympathize with them.
However, some people whom I know very well were displaying these feelings just so someone can pay attention to them more than the other person who is genuinely suffering from their insecurities.
The thing that I want to address here now is this: if any of you are experiencing genuine feelings of inadequacy from Imposter Syndrome, how do you feel whenever someone "fakes" their feelings and tries to "one-up" you so that more people will sympathize with them?
