A couple years ago I had one old dog. We wanted another dog as a companion for us and our other dog but when we went to the shelter the staff wouldn't let us adopt the dog we were looking at they thought it would not be good with our other dog because of his age.. He was about 13 at that time. So a friend of our daughter's dog had puppies we adopted one of those puppies. Those puppies mom had no milk to feed the puppies so they were hand raised .. which in turn made for a very needy puppy... who got along with out old dog quite well so well that 2 years later she now watches out for him like he once watched out for her... then about a year later my other daughter could not bring her dogs with her to her temporary apartment we told her we would watch them until she found her new permanent place... as they have stayed with us in the past... And their stay is another story.... what pets do you have.?
