What do you think about self medication

Do you self medicate because I sometimes do especially when I'm down with fever, flu,cough etc.Is this a wrong lifestyle?

Yes I do for minor ailments. We cannot always be rushing to the doctor for everything. But I ensure if the problem continues for more than a day then I consult a physician.

For colds, I just drink turmeric and honey and lemon. It works though.

The only thing a doctor has done for me in the past 10 years that I couldn't do for myself was stitch a major laceration on my hand. Ive gone to the doctor to get antibiotics once, but only because what I needed is not available over-the-counter.

It is not possible to go to doctor for minor health problem. So I take some medicine without prescripion.
