It all depends on how you and your best friend feel about it. IF she would feel safe and alright with you dating them, and it depends on the reason of the break up too. I would not want to date someone who hurt my best friend really bad.. - DNatureofDTrain

I also can't imagine wanting to be with someone that had been with a friend of mine - just too weird.
Your first loyalty is always to your friend in these situations...

Well I guess if you talk to your friend about it. And she says it's okay then it's okay. But don't do it behind her back or if she says no. That's not right.
