European, US, and Japan brands used to dominate the cosmetic industry in the past particularly the moderate to high end brands. Lately there have been a boom of Korean brands in the market what with the popularity of K-Pop. K-pop inspired eyebrows which is thick and almost linear is very popular among the new generation.

Koreans are known for their flawless Glass skin and no make up look. So pretty. Maybe the reason a lot are trying out their make up products.

I don't think it's caught on yet in my regions. Still seeing young girls walking around with thick triangle eye brows. Personally I order korean brand make ups because trying to find a true ivory foundation or concealer in the US is almost impossible and who can resist the cute packaging?

I've also switched to Asian brands especially Korean primarily because it's more compatible with our climate. Very ironic when I was younger I had US Brand Cosmetics, now I am into Asian Cosmetics mostly Korean brands. And you are right they come in good and artistic packaging.
