Junk Mail Overload

There was a conversation on here a few days ago about the post office losing our mail. I know that happens from time to time. However the junk mail seems to never get lost.
And I can see why other mail could easily be lost. 95% of my mail is junk. Magazines, flyers, junk, etc. If I do get something it is usually at the bottom or mixed in somewhere, almost going to the trash can.
I probably have thrown away important mail. But if it is that important they will send again perhaps. Rant over.
Have a great day everyone.

Even if some junk mail got lost, would you have noticed it?

@CarolDM True, there is so much, we would not notice if any were missing.

I have the same problem. Our mailman shoves the important mail in between catalogs and other junk mail. He's the worst mailman I've ever had

You're so right, it would be very easy to throw away a bill in the middle of all that junk!

Half the time they don't even bother delivering junk mail.

@CarolDM I like it when they have return reply free envelopes - I send them copies of each others junk mail and they have to pay for the postage

I can totally relate.
Canada Post is staging a rotating strike across the country.
Regular mail, such as your bills, are not delivered.
Yesterday I received 1 begging letter for a charity and 1 small sample.
Funny how that junk got delivered when nothing else is.

That is an interesting point that junk mail does not get lost but regular mail does. I sent someone something and it somehow got lost in New York and never arrived to her and I had to send her the money back. That never happened to me before and I was very disappointed in the Post Office which was close to home. Now, I have to go somewhere else to send things.

We don't seem to get too much junk mail. Mostly bills, and the Wednesday paper that everyone gets.

In the early years, I used to get mails and noticed that they were sent 3 weeks prior of me receiving them. Glad it was not lost and still got it.

I had a small order from Amazon get lost one time. But as they put tracking on everything it was not a problem getting it fixed.

You can call the company and tell them to stop the junk mail

True, true, true, I thought this happened to me only because of some setting in my mailbox I had no idea I was not alone. I feel much better now.
