hello everyone a bit warmer not much.
Today I pamper my self in good health
Have not told you that my ankle were swollen a bit.
This is due to chronic venous insufficiency and have to keep legs elevated and
wearing compressive stocking which I do now.20-30cc.
So after many google here about elevating my legs.
The recommend 5 times a day.!5 min. With the legs up.
This works out fine for me.Feel so much better.
This was one of the reason that I gave up tennis.
Do get on the court to hit some.My legs is coming along better now.
No edema but varicose veins

I'm glad the compression stockings are helpful. Are they the footless sort, or full stockings?

@spiderdust If you legs are bothering you.Take the time to elevate your legs.
Compression I believe come in all sizes.Have you ever talk to your Dr.about this?

@amadeo I've actually wondered if full compression leggings would be helpful for me sometimes, but I don't know how to find them (plus I'm not very skinny and I worry that I'd have a hard time finding ones to fit me well).

I'm glad your leg is better. And I often practice raising my legs against the wall.

sounds painful, glad the leg raising exercises help ease the problem. Sad that you can't play tennis now. I never could. I just spent a lot of time chasing the ball to pick it up again

What do you do when you have to sit with your legs up? Read? Watch TV? At least there are a few options for you. I'm glad putting your legs up helps with the swelling.

Sorry to hear that Alfredo. I suffered from varicose veins which became so painful I had to have surgery. So I know how painful blood flow issues in the legs can be. Hopefully these treatments improve your condition and get you back on the tennis courts more often in the future...
