You seem very ambitious and I love it! My kids keep me busy and we currently live with my in-laws, but someday I would love to learn to garden. My dream is to live on my own farm someday. I want to have cows for milk and chicken for eggs and lots of other animals. I don't want to butcher and eat the animals, though. I want to build a companionship with them. We take care of them and they take care of us. I think it would be good for my boys to gain some responsibility and they love animals, so it would be awesome for them to have a relationship with animals that most kids these days don't get to experience. I want to grow my own organic fruits and vegetables and live a simple, yet wholesome life. One can dream...

@UnicornWriter I wanted to do that once. We even bought the property and had told our 14-year-old son he could finally get a horse when we moved. Unfortunately, he was killed in an accident three days later and it was too late to back out of buying the house. We needed his help to make homesteading work, since he was the one who loved the animals and would have cared for them. I'm only good with plants. I hope you get your dream. I think it would be a satisfying life, but it takes a lot of work.
