Today is Day 10 of Mueller's 10 Day Extension

Special Counsel Robert Mueller asked for a 10 day extension in filing an update on Paul Manafort's case with the courts, um, 10 days ago. He said that he would be better able to explain Manafort's assistance after that time had elapsed which led everyone to believe that some major people (Don Jr., Kushner, Roger Stone) were going to be indicted in the following days. Michael Cohen made an appearance in DC in front of a grand jury. Roger Stone's associate Jerome Corsi admitted that he was in the process of negotiating a plea deal with Mueller's office. But there haven't been any indictments, arrests, or other bits of news out of Mueller's office in those 10 days.
So what gives? I have no idea. Maybe the Justice Department is going to make their move tomorrow. Maybe Robert Mueller will ask for another extension tomorrow instead. There was an indavertent leak that Julian Assange has been criminally charged but that wasn't supposed to be public knowledge. . .
The Special Counsel's office has been quiet pretty much since 60 days before the mid-term elections. The Resistance is getting restless.

I still do not think he is going to do anything until Dems come into office. People may say that is political but he does not trust this congress and waiting for people who want to know what actually happened.

@NJChicaa Oh Yeah, he can do lots of things before then to kind of speed up the process in that regard.

It's better to build a slow and methodical case that sticks then rush to appease people. Nonetheless, am hearing the investigation will be wrapped up fairly soon. We will have to wait and see.

@NJChicaa That is how Trump survived all these years they say. Because he could just make false claims but due process says had to hear him out. Delay Delay, damn we have no more money. Trump wins Money wins every time. They say this is different because in January they can hold his feet to the fire, but I still say it is going to take us for him and country as a whole to see justice. If 40 to 45 percent of population backing him still, gonna be very hard to take him down.

@crossbones27 It will be difficult to impeach him with the GOP in control of the Senate. They are so brainwashed that they still approve of all of the awful things he does just like his insane red state base.

ABC News reports there are close to 3 dozen sealed indictments sitting on the DC federal court docket. It has been alleged that some possibly might have been filed by Mueller to avoid impacting the midterms and protect his own investigation having foreseen that after the midterms, changes were probably inevitable in the WH. And he was right, the president wasted no time in naming Whitaker to take over Rosenstein's duties.
We shall see.

Me too but I'm sure Mueller has safeguards in place. He already has Cohen's case with the SDNY. The state of NY is also going after the Trump Foundation so the whole family is cooked even if Trump manages to put the kibosh on Mueller and he can't pardon state crimes.
