Christmas Movies

I'm determined to watch a movie a day from Thanksgiving to Christmas. I hope I have enough movies in my cupboard. If not, there are movies on Netflix. For now, I have plenty to watch.
I started with Miracle on 34th Street - the original classic. I watched Charlie Brown's Christmas, and yesterday was the first of a double feature called Christmas Child. Today I watched Time to Remember. It's a Hallmark movie starring Doris Roberts. I recommend all these movies. However, if you want to watch a movie that will melt your heart, touch your heartstrings and have tears rolling down your cheeks from the middle of the movie to the end, then Time to Remember is the movie for you.
It isn't a sappy romance, even though it's a Hallmark movie. What it is, is a movie about a mother, Doris Roberts, who wants to have Thanksgiving at home. Her sister-in-law lives with her and looks after her. Her oldest daughter is the organizer, and her youngest daughter, around whom the movie is, is an artist who seldom comes home. The elephant in the cupboard in this movie is Alzheimer's. This movie is very well done and as I said, it touches the heartstrings.
I don't know what movie I'll watch tomorrow, but I know it will be another good one.
Are you watching Christmas movies? Thanks for reading.

No, I will watch a couple closer to Christmas. I don`t like sad movies or books. I like positive and happy.

I like positive and happy too. I thought Time to Remember did that, even if I did need half a box of tissues.

One of these days, I will join Netflix and catch up. I guess though, I better identify something family can watch at Christmas with my grandson. Thankfully, he is now past gettng frightened at any movie I was enjoying before we had to turn it off/leave the cinema.

I am a social watcher, only catching movies when with others. I imagine Time to Remember is a very good movie.

Ah yes, there are movies that I enjoy this time of year, though I don't do so good with romance

@just4him Ah yes, sometimes it's a challenge, they seem to sneak romance in there a lot

I've watched a movie a day every day except yesterday since Thanksgiving. I haven't seen one yet today, and due to the time, I might not tonight either.

Up to now the movie Home Alone never gets old even if it's not Christmas.
