One of the first black family comedy sitcoms was "Good Times" that came out in 1974. It was about the poor Chicago family named the Evans and the parents struggle to provide for the family. One of the characters I remember well was the JJ character. Do you remember this show?

I don't know that this ever screened in Australia. My favourite genre is comedy.

I was born in 1974 and at that time our village still have no electricity and tv was still a very distsnt dream.
