Of all the Drumstick / Moringa plants I have planted over the years, this is the only plant that has grown into a TREE. The rest of them grew some small branches and then slowly died.
It's my fault probably because I've kept some of them in the pot for too long or didn't transfer them early.
Recently, I've cut some branches from the biggest Tree. But I doubt they will grow compare to this one that started out as a seed pod.
Have a nice day

@sunrisefan That would be nice, I would have a lot of leaves to dry and turn them into powder.

Hello @brokenbee I beg to disagree because I've tried it so many times they don't last long.

@Letranknight2015 I agree with Miss Arbie. I have experience many times that even branches that I cut and just put it on the side leaning on the fence still grow even if the tip of the branch is not on soil but on cement floor. If only we were neighbors, i could give you lots and lots of moringa leaves because they grow so fast that they end up in the compost pit because we seldom use them and so the leaves whither and I throw them away.

@Letranknight2015 I really do not know maybe its the soil that is not compatible with the plant. I know the other plant was toppled by one of the typhoons that hit us. But the one that survive did flourish well.

Hello @rsa101 How come only one survive? what happened to the others? In my situation they end up infested by worms and termites.

@rsa101 My reason here is that it's been infested by worms and termites.

@Letranknight2015 they grow fast during rainy season, perhaps because of rain water.

Our first drum stick tree came up well and yielded well too. We had to cut it down as it's roots got into our soak pit. We have a few branches planted but they are not doing so well.

Hello @allknowing It never goes well, I've been thinking it must be the soil because of the worms and termites. Wish I could have chose a different type of soil but like what the other mylotter states here they don't thrive much on pots.

a branch cut off the tree from Lawin's wrath last 2016, left them grow while standing on the fence. now, the moringa tree has some ''kids''ow, though one big tree was uprooted again last Ompong's visit in September

Hello @ridingbet I guess with worms and termites lurking in the garden, it's hard to have them grow. We rarely use insecticides these days. But hard to believe despite of that I got this one to grow. but ti has a sibling too. but not as big as this one.

Moringa does not grow well in pots, unless it is a very big pot/drum.

Hello @Daelii It's a miracle really because I wasn't being optimistic when I planted them. It was something I like doing hoping to make it like this and it worked some how.

Hello there, it's more like vegetable leaves and with pods in it. but it contains some vitamins more than justa few fruits.
Moringa nutrition is surprisingly high in folates, pyridoxine, riboflavin, vitamin-C (141 mg -235% DV), dietary fiber, and minerals. In addition to pods, M. oleifera (drumstick tree) flower tops and leaves are also an excellent source of health-benefiting
