Postal Strike Over?

After 6 weeks the Canada Post strike is over - but legislated over by the government. The workers went back at noon today. The question is , while this may mean parcels and letters get back on track and MAY make it to homes for Christmas, with workers unhappy, was anything solved? Letter mail has been declining for years of course and one of the labour issues is the amount of packages and the extra " work " and " strain " it puts on workers. Ironic how Fed-Ex , UPS Etc were BUILT on parcels , and here we have a workforce biting the hand that now feeds them it seems .... and I could be wrong saying that, but that's how it looks to me. ....comments?

I ordered something late last Friday, and the parcel arrived today by Canada Post. I was so happy. Now if only the businesses would support them by using the mail again.
