Succulents

My entire family has always had green thumbs. Myself? I cannot even keep a fern alive. Last April, I went to a womens' conference where the favors were succulents attached with directions. I hate the winter season. Also, I spend most of the day in my office. So, after receiving the following article in my e-mail in-box, I think I can finally decorate my work area with ease. What type of succulent do you suggest?
Best types of succulent plants--with beautiful pictures--plus succulent growing tips.

I am good at keeping plants, but not succulent inside, most of the time I water too much and they die.

@Spontaneo This is what they say, for me it has been the opposite, succulents are the only plants I kill.

I am also not very good at keeping plants. I have managed to keep a lovely plant alive and well on my kitchen windowsill. My secret is that I no longer water the plant I put water under it and let it drink as much as it wants or needs.

You are asking the wrong person. I’ve killed them all! I am heavy handed with watering, so whatever you choose, go easy!

My mother and sister were great gardeners. I think I was a bit of a disappointment to my mother as things I plant rarely thrive.

@Spontaneo That is too hard to answer. Gardeners have thousands of choices when it comes to plants.

I'm not good with plants or gardening. For the most part, I'm really not interesting in nurturing flowerbeds. Indoors, I've managed to keep two plant alive, which is a God given miracle! lol

Living in Thailand is like living in a jungle! Almost everything will grow...that is, except for my attempts. I could have a plastic plant die!

I have a "money tree" plant ( I think that is what it's called ) and I water it twice a month and it grows like crazy. My Aloe Vera plant is doing well and it even has a baby. Succulents are very pretty! All the best with them!

For succulents let them dry completely between waterings. Or put in a self watering pot and just keep the bottom full

Some of those are quite different and I've had a few that didn't do well but I never knew they would be considered a succulent. If it were me if would want something that might flower.
