Are you too old to dream

Can you ever be too old to dream? No, I am not talking about dreams at night when you sleep, but dreams about your future.
Do you let go of your dreams because you think its not possible and you have crossed that stage in life or would you consider modifying and refitting your dreams to the present?
My husband and I were discussing about what we would like to do five years from now.. he said he would be painting.. his passion which he hasn't had too time for in the last few years.
As for me I said I would learn to become a better photographer .. I am working on it... but i guess i would have more time then. I also want my book to be published .. it still in its infancy.
Do you think you are too old to pursue your dreams? Or if anyone could be too old to pursue their dreams?

I had simple dreams when I was a kid - own bed, room, fan, tv and even a computer. Now, I'm actually living it

I think for as long as we are breathing we should not stop dreaming. It changes over time of course as time would mold you into something different from your past. We should not stop because if you dream then you are hoping and eager to move on with life.

@sofssu it depends.. let's say a married man with family wants to travel the world alone. do you think they can do that in crowded family? i doubt it.. replace man with woman.. she is in same scenario.. sometimes our surroundings have power over us. and so does responsibilities.

Dreaming about being a good photographer, you're already doing good with the photo you attached.

@sofssu As you go along, you will improve. I'm taking shots, especially of the sunrise, because I love doing it and it has become some sort of a hobby. I'm not a professional photographer too but sometimes I get lucky to be able to capture some good shots and my friends appreciate it.

Not too old to dream. Might be too old to do some of it though.

I think it is important to keep dreaming and there are examples of people who are fullfilled their dreams late in life like the Danish man who finished his education as a lawyer when he was 80 years old. Some dreams are unrealistic, but maybe it is still possible to adjust the dream and fullfill part of it.

I dreamt to create Solitaire in my forties I have another dream and that is to convert Solitaire into a set up for the needy. We may convert it into a home for seniors or donate it to the nuns to take care of the marginalised. Plans are in the pipe line. No one in the family can settle down here.

No, no one is to old to pursue a dream. As long as they will still be able to do it, why not?
I dream of travelling also. But first here in the Philippines. and when we are done with visiting places here, we want to go abroad, where our friends and relatives are,; Canada , Switzerland and probably US.

Nope. Dreaming is for everyone no matter what age it doesn't matter what it is as long as you've been dreaming of it why not make it happen?
