Its really not hard just swap out animal products with plant-based products a little at a time.

I love the meals that can be frozen and saved. Often it tastes even better when it makes an encore.

@sharon6345 try sauteeing carrots till almost soft then add, garlic & onion add this mixture to your tomato sauce the sauteeing process brings out the natural sugar in the veggies adds sweetness to your sauce and its very good for you.

I used to eat that but fried foods just mess with my tummy so I don't eat like that anymore.

Looks very good. Usually when I make a lasagna I make a spinach lasagna. But I never cook a lasagna in the crock pot. I always cook it in the oven.

@ethal2018 It sounds VERY good, and one thing I have learned about anything in a crock pot...you simply CANNOT screw it up.

I used the oven all the time to and I just decided to try the crock and it worked out awesome. I have one of the large crockpots with a removable insert. this has spinach, beans, tomato sauce, onions, garlic, mushrooms & cauliflower cheese sauce..

It's always good to be able to freeze a serving or two.
