Is -pimple pete- really a "family" game?

One of the frequent advertisements to appear between my kids show is for a game called "pimple Pete". The object of the game is to pop pimples on the boy dolls face without upsetting him. Am I like the only one who feels like this is a game created by a mean bully as a way to insult someone one more time? What does this really teach our kids? How is this not a game to support negative actions? Would you play it? I won't! It just seems like one more thing to insult peoples appearances.

I think that is disgusting. There are some sick people thinking up some of these games.

I really agree! I just can't see how a parent could laugh and giggle with their kids when playing it? I knew so many and still do some who had some major self issues because of blemishes on the face.

@JudyEv I hated getting one when I was on my period. I'm glad it stopped as I got older.

Very! Almost every make up commercial highlights a perfect face. How many selfie apps exist to make people beautiful as if they were not already? Meds to fix the issue. Now its literally a "game for amusement"

It really makes me wonder... Why can't people create games and things to lift others?

I dont know this game but upon reading your discussion, yes, you are right. It should not be supported, on the other hand, i found it a bit funny, the popping of the doll’s pimple. Hahahah

It just looks nasty and I can't help but think... How would a little teenager feel being at a party that is using that as an ice breaker game. Hormones and body changes wrecking havok on making zits in the face. Who knows a girls period can cause blemish too. Its a natural body function. Yet kids and adults are cruel.
