How often do you do your laundry in a week?

Do you still handwash your clothes? I sometimes do that especially those with delicate fabric. I do my laundry once a week. I wash my beddings, pillow cases and blankets every week because I want them to smell good. But this is a task that I’m not so excited to do of course. My least favorite. What about you? How often do you do your laundry?

But it is less work when you do it through the washing machine. Our laundrywoman washes the whole week's soiled clothings and bedsheet every Saturday or Sunday whenit is rainy on a Saturday. She uses our washing machine, so it is just easy for her to be done after 4 hours.

@Janet357 my clothes are not "THAT" dirty, in fact they are still in good smell. so just a little wash will do, don't think I am dirty. My clothes are not the type I need to exert effort. But if I fail to wash for a week or from a long trip I use machine.

@Mavic123456 ok, i handwash the ones with delicate fabric. But for the clothes i wear everyday, i just machine wash them. I dont do handwash a lot because of the soap, it gives me itchiness and my skin peels off.

Why not machine wash. Is handwash better than the former

I don't handwash them. With three kids, I'm not doing it. But I probably do it once a week. Or when it really needs to be done. Depending on the situation.

@Janet357 Yes, I just wash them in the washing machine. With 5 people in the house, it's just easier for me,

I do my laundry once a week, too. It’s either Friday or Saturday. Yeah, I also changed everything like pillow cases, bedsheets, towels every weekend.

I have never washed my clothes, because I have a wife who helps wash my clothes after days, this is amazing, but sometimes I tell others to wash our clothes, When my wife feels tired, Because I feel sorry for my wife if she has to wash my clothes every day Because he also has to look after my children too Because my father said, If we have a wife, we must love my wife physically and mentally

@Janet357 I think you should enjoy being a wife and I as a husband must cherish my wife fully I did not want my wife to fall ill because she was too busy taking care of the household. I am the head of the family, and I will make the atmosphere of my household better than before and I will not let my wife fall ill because she is too tired to estimate the household I always thought that creating my home would be easier without the slightest burden

I do our laundry at least once a week, sometimes twice a week. I use the washing machine most of the time, but I have a few shirts I need to handwash.

@Janet357 I don't mind doing it. We have our own washing machine and that makes things a lot easier. In the past I lived in a place where 80 people had to share 3 washing machines, and we always had to book the washing machines well in advance. It is much easier now and I appreciate that.

Now that I have machines (I hand washed for 9 months without machines and hung clothes to dry), I will do laundry 2-3 times a week. We have 7 people so laundry adds up quick!

Saturday is the laundry day with our laundry woman, she just finished handwashing our clothes. she does not like to use the washing machine because she feels the clothes have to be clean by hand and not by machine. she will iron the dried ones this afternoon.

Yes. Handwashing is better than machine wash, i know someone who does both. So, she spends hours on doing the laundry alone.
