He has passed away at the age of 94. He was a military hero, a CIA director, a UN ambassador, a vice-president, and, of course, president, as well as holding other positions.
He is known as the patriarch of the Bush political dynasty. His son George W. Bush became president and his son Jeb became governor of Florida and ran for president in 2016. His nephew, I believe, has a political office in Texas.
He and Bill Clinton who were bitter rivals during a presidential election that George H.W. Bush lost eventually became allies and created a charity foundation to help areas of the world and our country that were hit by natural disasters. It was an unlikely alliance but one that drew a lot of respect.
Former US President George H.W. Bush has died at age 94 in Houston, according to his spokesperson Jim McGrath.

He lived a long life. I knew he would not last long after his wife passed.
