Cool coat, I have one similar. My favorite holiday food memory... let me think. It has been when we lived in Monte-Carlo, one year we decided to celebrate at the Hotel De Paris, assorted antipasti, beef Wellington with roasted potatoes, hazelnut and chocolate Yule cake.

I love the photo!
Holiday food memory. This happened on a holiday when we were kids - at my cousin's house. A bunch of us cousins were bored - so we opened up a big box of chocolate that was on the table. We didn't know what each chocolate was, so we all ate from the BOTTOM of the chocolates, and if we didn't like it, we put it back in the box right side up . My uncle came and took a chocolate that my cousin had put back - we all laughed and he had no clue what we did .

My favorite holiday food memory is my mom being up all night long preparing the Christmas meal. It was wonderful. The meal was always delicious. There was lots of food and lots of family and friends always came by to chow down. What I liked most was that my mom would set out bowls of fruit and nuts and I could eat as much as I wanted and also there was no limit on the amount of dessert servings I could have. Christmas Day rocked!!

The dressing that my aunt, who passed away in October, made. She did it all from scratch: chopped the veggies, baked cornbread, even baked a turkey instead of using canned turkey broth. It was out of this world.

What a great picture!
You should be a model. Love the coat.
My favorite holiday food memory has to be of the first time that we ever cooked a turkey ourselves. We were married for 1 year, and it was our turn to host his family over for Christmas eve, and of course the main event is always the turkey dinner, followed by carol singing and then the gifts.
Everything went quite well. Our son was only a couple of months old, and surprisingly enough, he slept in his crib for most of the gathering. He was a really good sleeper and could sleep thru lots of noise, which is exactly what we made when we all gathered and started ripping thru gifts and then playing cards.

Covington, Tennessee---Christmas 1976--went to an old fashioned Christmas dinner at my lover's home with a fireplace, kids running around, his grandmother made me a separate pan of her stuffing that I love, a tall Christmas tree, the family laughing at me as I picked the greens for the dinner, etc. It was like a Christmas that I have never had or would ever have again!

@amadeo I found the recipe in a magazine many years ago. I never liked pumpkin pie, so I decided to try it and it's really good. It has a layer of cream cheese and cool whip on the bottom. The pumpkin is made almost like a regular pumpkin pie, the difference is the condensed milk - not needed.
This was the first year I didn't make it due to my diet, but I also found it at Wal-Mart called a pumpkin cream pie in the freezer section. I'm sure making it from scratch is better.
