Chibi is a Japanese word that doesn't translate well into English. It literally means small or tiny, but the more important connotation is cute or adorable. You might understand it better if I said that a puppy is a chibi version of a dog
So here is a chibi version of Cthulhu. Of course, chibi and eldritch horror should be mutually exclusive, but...

Japanese is a very subtle language, much of it is implied even in simple sentences so you can imagine how nuanced a complex phrase can get...
