Hi everyone, I was on myLot many years ago and am back after a long break. I'm a bit out of touch so any tips, hints or advice are welcomed as are any friends old or new. I look forward to having some interesting debates and fun discussions with you all.
Dave

I do not recall seeing you. How acrtive were you then?
You can just open that 'help' menu and there you will find all what you want to know. Also you can read through some discussions to have a hang of it.

I just checked the dates and it was 2013 and I don't think I was really active, but looking forward to making more of things this time around.

How long ago did you join My Lot? Welcome back. Maybe check out other discussion to get an idea of what is going on now.

Welcome back! I believe that you may have joined during the 'doldrum years' (May 2013 - July 2015) when things were quite a lot different to the way they are now.
The main things that have changed since September 2013 are:
1) The Earnings Program has been reintroduced and is now based on an entirely new premise. See the Earnings Program FAQs for more details.
2) The Guidelines have been completely revised and rewritten and there is also a page of Frequently Asked Questions which will answer most of the queries which newcomers have.
You will find all of those pages under "Help" in the menu beneath your username (and in the link below) and you would be strongly advised to read them.
Other than that, it's pretty simple. Join in discussions that interest you and start your own. The more that you interact with others, the more likely they are to interact with you - and it is that that counts here (if you're interested in earning at all - , not how many discussions you post!

Thanks for that, will read up and refresh myself on the site before I jump in. And yes, "the doldrum years" seems apt for the way it felt back then.

Welcome back to My Lot. I also came back to My Lot after a gap. I look forward to your discussions and having some interesting debates with you. This summer I took my two children on a train rover and Swindon was a place we visiting. We took the Golden Line up to Gloucester.

Ahh Swindon, not famous for much but an integral part of the story of railway engineering. Good to meet you.
