Do you have your own YouTube channel? I don't. Are there any advantages of having your own YouTube channel? I read that you can earn some residual income from it as well. Can anyone shed some light on it?

I have some channels but have very few subscribers and views. But it's still interesting to post some videos. For earning you need at least 1000 subscribers and also 4000 hours of watched videos every year! That's not easy

Hmm. I have 66 subscribers. Have you seen my (brilliant) videos? Vanny and DJ (from MyLot) are involved.

@TheHorse I have about 50 subs on one channel and 70 on the other. Both channels don't earn me any income.

Those top earner youtubers have more subscribers and contents and activities to engaged with their audience. Their earning are much more higher than the normal working adults. No doubt they have spend efforts on developing the idea, shotting and video editing.

I may have two, but I'm not sure. I do NOT earn any income there. I think I established one years ago so I could leave comments and likes on songs. But then when MyLot's Vanny started posting my songs on YouTube, they established another channel, in which I'm involved.

I do have an account but a channel? Nope, I have none. It's all about vloggers. Vloggers got paid if they reach a particular subscriber and if they do also, vlogging their personal lives or challenges that attracts viewers
