So I applied to a home job and the next thing I know my e-mail is bombed with I would say 100 e-mails from different work sites like monster, indeed, ziprecuter.
That is just wrong. they should not be allowed to pass out someones e-mail like that I really came unglued at Upward and at monster they were just rude..
I will never use those sites again.

I could not find anything, I sent a big complaint, have not heard anything yet will see what happens.

Same here. My daughter applied for a job and now the phone and email accounts are non-stop offers. Most of them not even legit. Blocking them doesn't do any good as they use another number to call from. This is so not right.

I don't think they give the emails. They sell them. It's another way they make money.

I don't know if we can do much about it. Some have an email just for things like that and another one just for friends and family.

@1hopefulman I have several e-mails for different activities. Still, they do not have my authorization to sell or do whatever with my e-mail. I probably won't get much out of it but I'm going to give it my best shot.

It was posted on Upworks job listing. these top job sites are supposed to keep your info safe and not share. I jumped all over them about it and filed a complaint. Its BS..

I sent a big complaint will see how it goes and I have a gmail so all blocked mail just goes to your trash so you have to empty the trash can every day. anything that comes to my inbox that I did not subscribe to gets the boot.
