If you live in the states and have been following the battle for Net Neutrality, then you know that ISP lackey Ajit Pai repealed Net Neutrality last year and has been under attack ever since. Many states instituted their own versions, but this isn’t an optimal solution- we need the return of a strong federal policy to enjoy our rights to privacy on the internet Nearly every single Democrat in Congress has signed on to the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to reverse the FCC’s repeal of net neutrality. But with the deadline just days away, there are 18 members of the party who still haven’t signed… If you live in a state where your representative isn't supporting the CRA, you might take the opportunity to tell them to sign it now, before it is too late. Here is a list of politicians who haven't supported it yet and have also accepted donations from large ISPs https://www.demsagainstthe.net/?link_id=0&can_id=a16777779ef635ae5e8b307a27aec718&source=email-these-democrats-just-sold-you-out&email_referrer=email_463413&email_subject=these-democrats-just-sold-you-out

I feel as long as we are online, our lives are no longer private. Laws or not.

In many ways, you are correct but at least laws are there to protect your privacy and when that fails the offenders can be prosecuted...

@Courage7 my point being that without strong net neutrality, all sorts of privacy invasions and other unscrupulous behavior becomes legal

Thanks, I will keep this in mind. For now, Florida has not made up its mind.

the nice thing about having the FCC overruled and Net Neutrality reinstated is that the protection will exist at the federal level
