Okay, I'll admit it, my dog Ace is 10X as spoiled as either one of my sons ever dreamed of being. I can't help it. Take a look at that face in the picture in tell me you could say no to him when he casts those big eyes upon you. Are your furry companions as spoiled as mine?

I'm afraid that doesn't work as he is still there when I open my eyes.

Ace is a rescue dog who had a miserable first 5 years of life. We've done all we can to make his years since more than wonderful enough to make up for it.

@Ronrybs The last dog we adopted as a puppy was our son's Brittany, Ginger because we wanted him to have the experience of raising her from a young age. That was almost eleven years ago now. Since then, we've had two rescue dogs: our Jacques who was 3 and lived to be 9 before cancer took him, and my Ace.

Ace is a rescue dog and he'll have been with us 4 years this January. The best we can determine is he was about 5 when we adopted him. He still has the heart of a puppy, though.

I have not so far attempted to write a book but if at all I do it will be how we are exploited by Preiti. Her endearing ways just make us do what she wants us to.

I never considered my baby spoiled. I considered myself "well-trained."

You are never to say no to them. Jill is trying that look on me right now. I have not put their food down as fast as they think I should
