Too Bright to Sleep

Well a good week ago I got my husband to put up the Christmas lights up outside but they ended up sitting on top of the patio rail. They looked like a long row of little soldiers so I asked him to move them to the side of the rail. Well he did that. And it turned out that due to a problem with the location of the plug they had to be on the INSIDE of the rail. It looks alright cause you see a nice soft glow from the outside and the lights are facing our condo. Problem: The lights are shining right along the rail and right into our bedroom so they are shining in our window! Talk about bright when you're trying to sleep. So because he tried so hard to put them up right- the only thing I did was to ask him to make them go off earlier with the timer. Boy am I happy when they shut off just after midnight--lol!

yes I'm already thinking eleven cause I go to bed around 10 pm to 11 pm so it wouldn't be long.

So glad those timers did the trick! We have room darkening shades, draperies, etc. Even in Florida that morning sun is so bright and blinding.

I feel you! I'm also having a hard time to sleep if there's bright light pointing to my face while sleeping. I wish you're able to sleep!

I know but now I'm getting slightly used to them although they are still annoying. I may break down and tell him to make them even earlier. haha!

They won't be hanging much longer. It will all be over with before you know it.
