If you do nothing else, read the Guidelines and the Earnings Program FAQs. They will explain what is not acceptable here and how the earnings work. One and a half cents in an hour is OK but you can expect it to vary quite a lot because your earnings depend ENTIRELY on how much other people interact with what you post by responding, commenting, 'liking', &c. Once you get used to the way it works you can find it fairly easy to reach the $5 minimum each month but you shouldn't expect it to give you very much more than that. A few people make $20 or so fairly regularly but the most anyone has been paid in one month since 2015 (according to the owner) was $45.

This site is more about discussions. You will earn a little money but mostly you will get to know many people from many parts of the world. If money is the only reason you joined then I hope you know it will take a lot of time and effort on your part to earn a little.
