The workforce in Japan decreased and Japan is now seeking immigrants. Many of us believe that more population will affect a country badly. But what if everyone works and provide to development? Is it necessary to control population?

Apparently the United States have some immigrants that they would like to get rid of. Very sad actually. North America is virtually an entire continent of immigrants. Other than First Nation Native Americans, there was nobody else here prior to about 550 years ago. Without the massive influx of immigrants from all over, there would not be much here.

Japan has an aging population and not enough babies are being born. It can be necessary to control a population. For example China had too many people so it created the one child policy. Now we can see more boys in the one child family than the girls. Now there are many males and not enough females in China. Some of the richest Chinese ladies have emigrated to Vancouver in Canada. I wonder which nationalities the Japanese government want. Australia attracts skilled migrants from lots of different countries. In Belarus I met a lady that had won a green card for America. Some people in the world would get a culture shock if they emigrated to Japan. I am so looking forward to visiting Japan in April 2019.

At a certain point it should be since the resources of a certain nation cannot sustain it. But there are many cases like in most developed country where they instilled culture where reproduction is being considered unproductive and instead promoted more to work and earn for the country instead of creating family as part of nation building. These two should be balance in order to have a much needed people working for a certain country. If the country would be propelled to just work work and work it would be very hard in the long term to manage their decreasing population.

In global terms, there probably are too many of us. If half the world is hungry, that would certainly appear to be the case. However, if a nation's economy depends on a certain balance between producers and consumers, there is clearly a need to keep that balance correct.

Yes population control is very essential. Otherwise I think it will provide unemployment .

yes, I think indeed population control is very important, because the larger the human population, the more people will need work,
