What I Eat in a Day - #28

I did not eat low carb today, but I do have plans that I am working on with that. For the rest of the month, I will eat low carb as much as I can (I know going back and forth isn't helping me, but at least it is better than just giving up for the rest of the month and eating high carb). In January, I am going to FULLY commit to low carb/Keto.
Anyways, back to the menu....
In the morning, I just had a fruit leather thing....my son usually eats them, but I just wanted a snack.
For "lunch" I had a sandwich (turkey and cheddar cheese). My grandmother made a casserole, but it had onion and mushrooms so I didn't want that.
I did have a few pieces of the regular Christmas Candy, but I won't be eating them more than that. I will make some more of the low carb candy, and might freeze some to have once in a while in the future (no, that's not cheating since it won't be high carb).
Anyways, then for dinner I had some leftover pasta, didn't feel like cooking, I will get back to cooking tomorrow (well, I guess today now).
I didn't track my food today. I didn't check my blood sugar either (I knew it would be high, so I didn't see the point).
What was on your menu yesterday? Did you have anything good to eat?

Very good point lol. For the rest I am not necessarily dieting....just trying not to eat too many carbs.

@ledante Yes, hopefully can stay more sane during the holidays then lol. In January I am going to get really strict with my dieting though.

The noodles and hot dog sound delicious! Pork chop is good too! Hope you enjoyed!

Its tough to be on keto when the rest of the family isn't.. I found it extremely difficult that i had to cook two meals for every meal we ate.. As long as my husband was on keto it was fun.. going back and forth again is not good either.. I also tend to do it at times.

Yes, that is very true, and yes that would be difficult! My husband tried doing keto with me, but he has to do a little bit higher carb. That is good that you had a better time when yours did it too

NO never give up, just because we skip a day doesn`t mean we quit.

I read about your dinner, it sounded good though!
Exactly! :)
I would give up in the past and just cheat for the whole month, but I will just do my best, knowing I will probably have a few days that won't be low carb this month.
