If you had to change your name, what would your new name be, and why would you choose that name?

I wanted other name when I was a little girl. I accepted it and grew to like it as I grew up.

For some reason when I was younger I thought that my birth name directly correlated with if I ever got married or not. I wanted to tell people to call me by Ann (my middle name) because it sounds good with everything , but my dad said he would still call me Shasta

@ashuli I did change my name here in Israel to a shorter version of my Hebrew name.

I could not say my name properly when I was young and so many people still find it tough to get it in first time. I love my name and never wanted to change it. There is a cute story behind it that my mom told and that made me fee so bonded with my name.

I think I will never change my name, because I would prefer my name to be given when I was a baby

As you probably know, I'm a musician, living and playing in the San Francisco Bay Area. My real name is ----- -------- -----, but it's not that sexy of a name. I'll attach one of my videos. What name do you think I should use? I'm actually a professor of psychology, but I'm pretending to be a jaded Americana musician.

I like Simran. But not want to change my name.
