@nawala123 Yes, I didn't realise the back of an old television which was switched off could be so dangerous.

@nawala123 Yes it may be. If we put on rubber shoes when we are doing some electric work than we can save from ,electrocuted.

I had a flood once and tried to pick up the phone and did not get electrocuted. I was lucky but the flood was no fun at all.

Mine was very mild. Had water near an electrical outlet. But the water was minimal, just wiping the counter was wet and as I wiped, I got a bit of a shock from it. Nothing major happened just a dull feeling of jolt for a second, then done. Glad you're okay now.

The landlord's handyman came by today early again to check how things was too, very thorough! The handyman will have to replace 2 walls, about 2 and a half feet wide and about 4 feet wide, one behind the stove and one behind the toilet. The handyman was right, he figured the leak was in the pipes behind the toilet...it was behind the toilet. Now they are letting everything dry out so they can be sure too if there is anything else wrong they'll fix it.

I tried it when I touched the grounded water heater and it feels like someone hit me on my head. Luckily I threw it with a bang.

Yes, I did but not as major as what you have experienced.
I remember I got electrocuted when I touch a mosquito net (designed like a badminton racket) while I accidentally press the on button.
I was surprise to see it for the first time and it was able to hold a key when I try it on. So I just touched it and myself vibrate for a few second.
Do you have hair stand up after you being electrocuted?
