Hibiscus moscheutos Luna Red is the largest in the category of hibiscus. I have seen the Hawaiian variety and did have a few in my garden but this one is so rare. Its size is around 8" and this colour I am sure will light up my garden.
I was just imagining scores of these plants in my garden. What a sight it would be.

That is a large flower specie, we call habisus "gumamela " there use to be a lot in our old school yard ( just the common ones) but we did not care about the flowers, we cared about the leaves because we mix it with soap and water to make soap bubbles with a rounded wire, the sap of the plants made our soap bubbles more durable.
