Our Lady of Guadalupe

Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Patron Saint of Mexico and the Americas and today is the day we Catholics celebrate her.
The photo is of the display set up in our sanctuary at church for this special day. The flowers are all real.

It is a simplified version we use to teach the elementary school kids the story but it is also how I learned the story just a few years ago.

We have a place named Guada Lupe here in my country, I think it was influenced by Spanish long time ago.
