Yesterday, I started my Christmas song selection with favorite hymns and carols. Today, I'm going to share other songs people enjoy at Christmas, songs that are also my favorite this time of year, and once again, you won't see Run, Run Rudolf or Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. Instead, these are my favorite Christmas songs and I will feature one of them for you to enjoy.
Winter Wonderland
Let It Snow
White Christmas
Silver Bells
Carol of the Bells
Good King Wenceslas
Jingle Bells
I Heard the Bells
Frosty the Snowman
12 Days of Christmas
My favorite song from this list, believe it or not is not Let It Snow. It's my second favorite. My favorite is White Christmas, and that will be the featured song, sung by Bing Crosby. There's no better version, in my opinion, than the final song to the movie White Christmas, sung with Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen. You can also see the movie on Netflix.

You're talking about her link, Judy? Have you never seen that before?
I forgot about the ballerina in this and had to take another peek. It's a Christmas classic here. I think we own that movie.

Ha, if we were thinking about guessing it makes sense that the snow songs are your favorites, Valerie. That's a bit funny that you think we night be surprised.
Do you make a playlist was year? Do you make a CD or just for your computer?
I don't normally, listen to music when in the computer because games beep it out but I'm trying to behind working again in bookwork and music would be a nice addition.
We got a smidgen of snow and ice did you get any? It's already melting I've at least the ice is.

@just4him you could have a layer of snow now and have it melt right before Christmas. We could still get a decent snowfall anytime before. Some areas of the country are getting lots of snow while others not so much. It may be the result of the el Nina or el Nina. I thought that would mean a warmer winter but we're had brisk temps both least month and this month so maybe it will just be not heavy snowfall which works for me since I'm the one that now shovels and used the blower.
But, it's fine with me if you get a large dumping of snow and you can have ours too.

Wow, this is very interesting, this is the first time I've seen it,
and it looks very strange to me, because I never attended an event like this, but I really like

I love grandma got run over by a reindeer.
But out of that list my favorites would be jingle bells and frosty. Then let it snow. Dont care for the others much.

You don't like Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer sung by Gene Autry or Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Judy Garland?

Excellent list Valerie! Like them all... One I always enjoy too is "Silent Night." Sung by many artists Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby's version are nice listening.

All favorite songs this time of year. My kids were young when Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer was popular so it's a family favorite in my house and gives us all some laughs.
