I started with comics I think when I was in the 3rd standard and then Enid Blyton, Perry Mason, Sherlock Holmes, Mills & Boon, Denise Robins, Agatha Cristy, Sydney Sheldon, Arthur Hailey, Autobiographies of leaders etc etc. I like to read any kind of books. My father was in the Railways and we had a Club where there was a library. My reading habit started from there and continued till the time of my marriage. After that it went down. Now I have again started reading whenever I get time.

I like historical dramas. The type of book where after you read it you feel like you've actually learned something about that era. The only type of books I don't like really are sci-fi, but even in that genre there have been a few I liked like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

I remember when I first showed and intrest in books. I was in 4th grade. I joined a book club at school and we started off reading. "The Babysitter's Club" I remember when I went home I told my mom and she said "You know you have to acctually read a book right?" I love to read. I mostly read books by African American Authors. Such as Terry McMillan and Eric Jerome Dickey. The last book I read is "What you Owe Me" by BeBe Moore Campbell. It's a very good book. I highly recommend it.

I have always been a big reader, since 1st grade anyway. Although my choice of reading material has changed. When I was younger it was children's fiction, then romance, the self help books, now its inspirational books, history, or books of local interest.

reading is a good hobby and one of the best ways to kill time. i love to read fantasy novels since I was a teenager. the first fantasy book i remember reading was "belgariad" by david eddings. some ppl find me strange but i enjoy books like that because it stimulates my imagination and help me escape from reality for a while. :-) important at times to keep my sanity. :-)

I should say that I am addicted to reading. This addiction started off when I was of 6-7 years.I enjoy all kinds of books because I feel that every book is an experience in its own right.Books kindle the creativity within and helps in shaping one's perspective towards life.Whatever experience and knowledge gained from a book is definitely worthwhile.

I can't remember the age when I could not to read. My parents told me, they discovered that I can read when I was 3 years old. The most interesting about it is, that I was bilingual then (Estonian and Russian) and could read in both languages, two different alphabets (latin and russian), and nobody taught me to read. How it happened remains a mystery. So I can't exactly say, when I started... I read many kind of books (sometimes even romances!) but I prefer non-fiction, and my favourite topic now is history.
