In need of cash for the holidays.

Today I had to change my plans. The most important thing I needed was to get cash from the Bank. If I wait until the last moment, I will have to wait in a long line as everyone needs money then.
I will also buy some groceries at a small supermarket instead of going to the farmers market. And there I can get some frozen fish. Not as good as fresh fish, but it will do.
Are you aware that you need some cash during the holidays?

I have to leave cash at home so that Leticia can have her money. And I will take some money to the beach as I don´t know whether they will accept credit cards everywhere there.

@LadyDuck Most of the places where I buy are either supermarkets of big stores.

Usually I will get more cash when I will have a travel. Since here it is quite common to pay by credit card or phone. I seldom need cash in these days. I just make sure I keep my phone when I go out and that's good enough. I don't have to be worried that they don't accept it.

I have a credit card, but not a debit card. So it is not that simple to get money when the Banks are closed.

Credit cards are a loan. At some time you have to pay. How was it that you made money helping your father to the doctor. Did he pay you?

Yes I am aware because all banks would be on their holiday break too and if you transact there in later time before the holiday, the tendency is it's packed with clients and I don't like to wait long before my turn so it's better to withdraw earlier.

In my local high street all the banks closed. Only one bank is left there and that one is a bank I banked with before 2012. I can use its cash machine to take money from my main bank account. I know every supermarket has a busy car park with hardly any room. Today is has been raining all day and I took my son to school in my car. It was still raining when I went to the school to collect my son. I need to visit people on Saturday and do a Christmas food shop on Monday.

Our Banks close near New Year. And also the 25, of course. I don´t have a debit card and it is too expensive to get cash from a credit card. So I went to the Bank today with a cheque.

I usually use my credit card which I pay at the end of the month. But now that I´ll go to the beach, I don´t know if they will accept credit cards everywhere.
