Rekindling old hobbies

Just trying to release the artist in me. This is the first time I painted on a shoe and for sure, there's more to come. 
I'm using acrylic paint on a cloth shoe and also, an oil varnishing to ensure that the acrylic paint will be protected from dirt and dust. Because over the years dirt and dust will stick to the varnish rather than the painting and when the time is right, the varnish itself can be removed and the painting re-varnished to look as good as new.

Any plans to go big - I mean having your own business?
I rekindled my passion for gardening and started a landscaped gardens designing and executing business.

How I wish I also have a greenthumb like you. I may consider going big maybe in the future let's see... I have other business as of now and it's about perfumes.

Yes Carmila, however, I am doing this only as a hobby or if I have some leisure time. But I'm still open in considering this as a business. Maybe in the future, who knows...

That's good. I've often wondered if I might be any good at painting, but I haven't touched a paintbrush (of the artistic kind!) since 1968 when art lessons at school stopped - I wasn't much good then, so I'm not sure that I would be now! (half a century later!)

Hello John! Well, you'll never know until you try. You might be good at it this time. For me as long as there is determination, and by doing it with passion, for sure the outcome will be beautiful. I'm not really good believe me, I just love what I'm doing.
